April is the CEO/Founder/President of A Joyous Transition, her passion for serving the community members and advocating and supporting their needs goes far beyond her skills and credentials. But it is found in her purpose and ministry for this work. She is from Greensboro, NC, a GTCC, Greensboro College, and Strayer University graduate. Her extensive background includes Early Childhood Education, School Age Certificate, Liberal Studies w/concentration in B-K, and a Master of Education with advancement in Leadership Development, Human Services, Mental Health and Substance Abuse.
Erica serves as our Vice President, her years of knowledge, expertise, and credentials in Nonprofit Management are what make her a great fit for this role. She also serves as our Strategic and Communications director. Erica is a graduate of UNCG where she brings a wealth of knowledge and has strategically and carefully helped our organization enhance our programs.
Iris serves as our Client Advocate Specialist and serves on our General Board of Directors. She brings value to the organization by assisting with identifying client needs and establishing relationships with clients and community support services to help clients meet their goals. Iris earned her Criminal Justice degree from North Carolina Central University and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Tiffany Jackson is the Program and Event Coordinator for A Joyous Transition Inc. She is a native of North Carolina and earned degrees from UNC Chapel Hill and North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. Tiffany possesses a passion for teaching and helping others within the community! Tiffany is highly qualified in this area and brings a wealth of knowledge, structure, and outline of programs and events that serve our population and our community members.
